The Hacienda in Paute

This is my maternal grandparents' hacienda house in “Pirincay Chico”, before reaching the town of Paute, in Ecuador. My mother and her siblings spent much of their childhood and adolescence here during vacations. It was a hacienda where they cultivated sugarcane and other fruit trees. It still stands, bearing witness to its past and filling the air with pleasant memories of family and the countryside.
