In the central courtyard of the "Casa de las Palomas", a patrimonial jewel of Cuenca, the elegant acanthus plants bloom. Each time I cross its threshold, I am enveloped by the serenity of its interior and the delicacy of the murals of women and doves. Its decoration, inspired by European Romanticism, intertwines with the stones and the vegetation, creating an authentic atmosphere that evokes Cuenca of bygone days. In this scene, it is the acanthus of its garden that takes on the role of protagonist and inspiring muse.
Fine art giclée reproduction of my original artwork. My prints are made on a thick (21-mil) heavy weight (310g) paper with the luxurious style of traditional artists' papers. It has a natural-white, matte finish with a textured watercolor feel and will last for many years to come. Because of the difference between available paper sizes and the original artwork, please note that the border size may vary.
